The scarf depicts musical notes and the lyrics of the song "Oy ne khody Hrytsyu" as a tribute to the creators of Ukrainian music, who wrote, sang, and passed on folk traditions to future generations. No nation in history has created as many songs on its own as the Ukrainian people have. More than 15 thousand works are included in the UNESCO fund of Ukraine. Ukrainian folk songs are folkloric works preserved in the collective memory of the people and passed down orally. The authors of most of these songs are unknown. “Oh, Don’t Go, Hryts” was written by Marusia Churai; this song tells a story from her life: the girl loved a Cossack named Hryts and poisoned him. As is known, in the summer of 1652, the Poltava court sentenced Marusia to execution. At the trial, Marusia claimed that she had prepared the poison for herself, but Hryts accidentally drank it. The scarf is available in two sizes: S (52×52), M (82×82).
